Brett Favre Scandal Update: NFL Investigating Favre Harassment of Jenn Sterger, Massage Therapists (Video)
The Brett Favre scandal update this morning reveals that not only did Favre send inappropriate photos and messages to a former female employee of the New York Jets, but two more women have also come forward to say Favre harassed them.
Brett Favre is refusing to talk about the allegations, but the NFL is currently conducting an investigation into the Brett Favre scandal.
Favre, father of two and a known family man, is one of the most celebrated players in the sport, but this scandal is tarnishing his image.
Media Analyst Steve Adubato comments in this video clip, “His [Favre’s] brand’s in big trouble.”
Brett Favre is accused of approaching multiple women with lewd text messages, starting with Jenn Sterger, who was a reporter for the Jets. Favre’s voice mail messages, sext messages and photos to Sterger leaked online last week.
In this Today show video clip, they report that NBC News couldn’t verify the authenticity of the voice messages.
Sterger has not commented, but two more women have also come forward to say they were harassed by Favre. The women are massage therapists who also worked for the Jets.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell commented that the league is looking into the Brett Favre scandal allegations: “We are going through that and we are making sure we understand all the facts.”
Once the investigation is complete, Goodell says, “we’ll make a determination from there” about disciplinary action.
