Brooke Burke’s Diet Tips For A Hot Mom Bod
With four children and her gig as co-host of Dancing With The Stars, Brooke Burke is quite the busy bee. But how does this beautiful celeb mom stay in shape with such a demanding and diverse schedule?
First and foremost, Burke does not even dabble in fad dieting.” I think it’s important to always maintain a healthy lifestyle,” the 39-year-old mom tells Access Hollywood. “As part of my routine, I like to eat five smart, balanced small meals a day.” For Brooke, these healthy, balanced meals are comprised of items like a “protein shake in the morning, lots of sushi, Bill Phillips protein bar, yogurt, fish, chicken, lean beef, and lots of salad veggies.”
But Burke’s healthy habits do not stop there. As for her children, Brooke explains, “Teaching my kids early eating habits, going grocery shopping together, spending time in the kitchen and educating them in a really fun way about food. I think the biggest secret is to start teaching them about food at young age,” Brooke continues, “I teach my kids to eat the colors of the rainbow – eating simple fresh fruits and vegetables are really important. Some of their favorite foods include edamame, yogurt, berries, nuts and breakfast bars.”
Yum. What kid wouldn’t want to eat a rainbow? Smart solutions, Brooke! How do you plan healthy meals for yourself and your kids?
