NFL Looking into Deadspin’s Brett Favre Jenn Sterger Allegations- It’s Officially a Scandal Now
Up to now, the allegations that Brett Favre was trying to seduce actress, model and then Jet’s employee Jenn Sterger had been rumors, hearsay and gossip. Even though Deadspin posted the voice mail messages Brett Favre supposedly left Jenn Sterger and even included very intimate and lewd photos that Favre allegedly sent her. The whole situation could have been something that was just swept under the rug, something ignored while hoping it would just go away. For the sake of Brett Favre’s career and more importantly his family. But the situation just got worse. It’s not just pundits, sport writers and bloggers examining the evidence, now the NFL is involved. A spokesman for the NFL confirmed that…they are “reviewing the matter.”
When a reporter asked Favre about the Deadspin report he stated, ”I’m not getting into that. I’ve got my hands full with the Jets and am trying to get some timing down with our guys, so that’s all I’m going to discuss.” Jenn Sterger’s manager said she is “not doing any interviews or commenting at this time,” but that “Jenn did not provide Deadspin with any information,” and Deadspin isn’t fessing up who they acquired the information from. Those two aren’t commenting but everyone else sure is!
