Mel Gibson’s ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, spoke with People magazine about her relationship with Gibson, their custody dispute and the phone recordings.

Oksana Grigorieva appears in People magazine with the headline “I Was Scared for my Life,” and speaks openly about how Mel Gibson became violent, terrorized her – hitting her twice, choking her, and threatening her with a gun.
Oksana says Gibson is “depressed” to the point of having “thoughts of suicide.”
Gibson is currently under investigation for domestic violence, plus Oksana is also under investigation for allegedly trying to extort money from Gibson to keep the tapes out of the media.
Oksana claims she had nothing to do with leaking the tapes, rather says they were made “to document his threats.”
Grigorieva says she’s “severely in debt,” but also notes, “I’m standing up to a bully who is very rich and famous.”
The couple’s daughter, Lucia, is caught in the middle of a bitter custody dispute, but Oksana told People that she wants to have Gibson in Lucia’s life.
Mel Gibson’s attorney didn’t speak with People or with the Today show.

Savanna commented on Oct 09 10 at 12:13 pmShe is scary and her stories, even from a legal point of view don’t carry any thread of truth. She certainly does not carry any of the signs of a domestic violence victim. Many of us involved in these kind of crimes do not seem to be able to make sense of her claims which keep changing and changing to fit whatever she wants to answer bad publicity and that all against her.
