Dancing with the Stars approached Todd Palin
Dancing with the Stars sure likes the Palins. Bristol Palin, daughter of Sarah, is holding her own this season, having survived the first three weeks and will continue on dancing next week. But the show also approached another member of the family: Former First Dude of Alaska Todd Palin.
On Tuesday, Sarah Palin revealed this snippet of interview during a speaking engagement.”They wanted Todd to be on the show,” the former Alaska governor said at a Houston, Tex. appearance.
“I think that would have been cool to see, too,” Palin said of her husband of 22 years with whom she has five kids.
Listen, Bristol has made a name for herself as an activist in warning teenagers about the reality of being a teen mom, but does “star” apply to a former governor’s husband? Really?
No word on whether show producers originally wanted Todd instead Bristol, or if ABC thought, “The more Palins, the better!”
