Oksana Grigorieva’s Interview with Oprah Called Off By Her Lawyers

Apparently Oksana Grigorieva’s appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show was rolling full steam ahead — cameras had even been spotted at Mel Gibson’s baby mama’s home. But the brakes have been put on and Grigorieva’s bottom will not grace Oprah Winfrey’s couch with its presence. It had been reported the cancellation was because the judge put a gag on Oksana since she’s in the midst of a myriad of legal issues with Gibson, but others are now saying it has nothing to do with the judge, it’s because her attorneys won’t let it happen.
Insiders privy to the case told TMZ there was a conflict between Oksana’s lawyers. Anne Kiley, her family lawyer, was adamantly opposed to Oksana doing the interview. Daniel Horowitz, who arranged the interview, obviously supported it — as did Oksana — but ultimately Kiley overruled them. Which makes you wonder what Kiley was afraid Oksana might say. Perhaps it’s just a PR decision if Oksana doesn’t come across well in interviews. One has to wonder what Oksana’s motivation would have been to do a public interview right now in the first place. Let’s just hope Oprah doesn’t fill the spot with another Jenny McCarthy interview. What is Oprah’s fascination with that woman anyway?
