Britney Spears Conservatorship Will End Soon

Britney Spears definitely seems to be getting her life back on track. In fact, she actually seems like she could be considered somewhat “normal” again. She’s in a solid relationship with Jason Trawick, and she’s taking care of her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden and genuinely seems happy about being a mother.

The only thing separating Britney from being completely independent again is the conservatorship her father has over her that a judge put in place when she was in her “meltdown” phase. A source close to Brit says that the next conservatorship hearing is scheduled for October 14th, and that it will likely end within the next three months.

The source says, “Britney has made tremendous progress in the past three to four months. She seems to be firmly in control again.” This person also adds that currently, Spears and her ex, Kevin Federline have joint custody of the kids and that they “co-parent” them, and that “her boys are the most important thing in the world to her.”

Supposedly the conservatorship will end in two phases, and Britney won’t gain control of her finances until the second phase. It will not officially be removed until the judge, and Brit’s father feel that she is ready to be on her own again.
