29-year-old Lisa Kelly is married and when not on the road, she lives in Wasilla, Alaska (and no, she does not know Sarah Palin). She has been driving for while saying, “I’ve already proved myself to the guys in Alaska because I’ve been driving for six or seven years. They already know I can drive, but when the cameras are on, I have to reprove it to the world.” Being a young blonde looker certainly isn’t who you think of when picturing a truck driver, but that never stopped her.
It’s a great lesson for girls, that even though a career if not considered to be a traditional one for women, gals can grow up to be anything they want! But the question is, would you. What would you think if your little girl grew up to drive trucks on some of the most dangerous roads in the world?
