He passed away last night at the age of 85 from cardiac arrest. “He leaves behind children and their families who loved him and respected him, and a wife and in-laws who were devoted to him. He also leaves behind fans all over the world,” his daughter Jamie Lee said in a statement.

The 1957 film ‘Sweet Smell of Success’was Tony’s first break out role. he played the devious press agent Sidney Falco.
