Katherine Heigl: What's up with the smoke stick?

Did you see the smoke stick mom of one Katherine Heigl lit up on David Letterman last night? Was I the only one who’d never heard of it? She said she’d been trying to quit smoking for years, and she pulled out what she says has helped her in her quest: An electronic cigarette, the SmokeStik, which simulates smoking with a bit of nicotine.

It has a bejeweled bottom, and the top “lights up” when you smoke it. Heigl blew out some smoke, which she said was water vapor. She eventually let Letterman try the smoke stick – and the notorious cigar lover was none too impressed, as you can see on the video.

The idea behind the SmokeStik is to imitate the hand-to-mouth repetition that smokers crave while weaning them off the actual smokes. It looked totally bizarre – do you think it’s a better example for kids than real cigarettes?

Check out Heigl and Letterman smoking the smoke stick.

My mom used a kit from http://www.CleanGreenNicotine.com and she has not had a tobacco cigarette since April (about 8 months ago). Beware some of the worthless brands out there. Some are cheap knockoffs.

Hey, these things are the best replacement you will ever get for smoking without all the harm the poisonous American made cigarettes contain. I smoked for so many years and found recently to be diagnosed with COPD..now my pulmonologist is happy for me that I found a better alternative. My breathing has improved a lot. Just be careful where you buy these. On line, with a reputable dealer is the best alternative.

Smoked for 30 years, 2 pk a day. COPD, bad cough. One year on the E-Cig my Dr loves it. i don’t cough, wheeze. Love it, order from USA dealers only not China. AZSmokefree.com best for me. not A-Z ,be careful. 510 manuel $49 not $100 like in the mall. My health inproved after one week. try it.
