Katy Perry Is Too Hot for Sesame Street But Not the Simpsons!
Katy Perry was a bit too hot for Sesame Street. Her debut with Elmo has been pulled from their upcoming episode that was to feature the cleavage barring songstress. The reason? Parents complained that her outfit was too risqué for the preschool set. But one man’s trash is another man’s treasure…
Katy Perry has left Sesame Street and will soon be heading over to Springfield to hang out with the Simpsons. On the December 5th airing of the show Katy will be a guest star on a special Christmas-themed episode. But, reportedly, Katy won’t be animated herself. Instead she’ll be starring in an live action segment where the Simpsons will be represented by puppets. The episode will be called “The Fight Before Christmas” and Katy will be playing Moe’s girlfriend.
The executive producer of the show stated that, “in the wake of Elmo’s terrible betrayal, the Simpsons puppets wish to announce they stand felt-shoulder-to-shoulder with Katy Perry,” the show was actually shot in mid September, before the Sesame Street scandal.
