Desperate Housewives Cast is Back as Season 7 Kicks Off
The beautiful ladies of Wisteria Lane are back as the new season of Desperate Housewives kicked off on Sunday.
As expected, the premiere had all the twists and turns we’ve come to expect of one of our favorite dramas.
The newest and highly anticipated cast member is Vanessa Williams, who joins the regulars playing Renee Perry.
Renee, an old college roomie of Lynette’s (Felicity Huffman) who comes to visit her, is the wealthy wife of baseball player Doug Perry. But all is of course not what it seems, in Desperate Housewives trademark style.
The biggest reveal in Sunday’s episode was Carlos (Ricardo Antonio Chavira) learning that his and Gaby’s daughter Juanita is not their biological daughter!
After all these years, he learns that there was a mix-up at the hospital when she was born. Oh the drama! He is determined to keep the knowledge from Gaby for fear it would break her heart. More secrets!
What are the other cast members up to? Bree (Marcia Cross) confesses to Gaby (Eva Longoria Parker) that it was her son Andrew who ran over Carlos’ mother in the car accident. Susan (Teri Hatcher) and Mike (James Denton) have trouble adjusting to living in an apartment as they rent out their home to Paul (Mark Moses) who has returned to Wisteria Lane and will undoubtedly be looking for revenge.
Bree and Orson (Kyle MacLachlan) are moving on, and Lynette and the family are adjusting to having a new baby in the house.
The new season promises to be full of more drama and secrets!
