Cooper Manning: What’s Archie Manning’s Other Son Up To? Video of Him Playing Football
Cooper Manning played football, just like younger siblings Peyton Manning and Eli Manning. But unlike Archie Manning’s other kids, Cooper never made it to the NFL. He was the only one of the Manning brothers sitting on the sidelines of last night’s Manning Bowl, won by Peyton’s Colts.
So what is Archie and Olivia’s oldest son up to these days? Well, Cooper has distanced himself from the game after being diagnosed with a congenital narrowing of the spinal canal after being recruited to play wide receiver at the University of Mississippi.
Upon graduation, Cooper took a sales job with Seismic Exchange that had little to do with his college major, broadcast journalism. Then in 2000, Cooper jumped to Howard Weil, where he continued his sales career and has in fact become one of the company’s top salesmen in the New Orleans office.
Cooper, who is married with children, also became good friends with New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees, though he still rooted for brother Peyton when the Colts played the Saints in last year’s Super Bowl.
Still, Cooper can’t escape his football roots—they’re all over the internet. Here’s a video of him and Peyton playing high school football.
