Shelley Malil Found Guilty of Attempted Murder
Looks like Shelley Malil’s showbiz days are definitely over for good. The “40 Year Old Virgin” actor was convicted of attempted murder yesterday for the stabbing of girlfriend Kendra Beebe, the mother of two children.
He stabbed her 23 times in 2008, but says that it was not intentional. He claims that he went to her home and found her with another man, who he believed was going to cause some sort of harm to him, so he pulled out the knife and started stabbing. I guess the big question is why he would show up at his girlfriend’s house with a knife in the first place.
Prosecutors in the case argued that Malil planned the attack and waited for Kendra to “come home in the dark.” She wound up with a collapsed lung and her chin mutilated.
Malil is now awaiting sentencing for the case, and could wind up in prison anywhere from 16 years to life.
