Bravo Dumping Salahis from Real Housewives of DC?
Could Bravo be dumping the Salahis (Tareq and Michaele) from The Real Housewives of D.C.?
If reports are to be believed, Tareq and Michaele Salahi will not be asked back for a second season of Real Housewives of D.C. due to the bad press they bring along. A source squeals to PopEater.com,”The DC show is the only show in the entire franchise that isn’t a true hit. And the Salahi’s are the biggest reason for that. At first, execs thought they struck gold with all the attention the couple got over the White House dinner. But now they realize not all press is good press and this couple’s involvement in the show has turned more viewers off than on.”
The Salahis have been saying that their Bravo contract bans them from speaking about their White House party crashing incident, but the network issued a statement recently that it’s just not true.
Tareq and Michaele also reportedly did not attend the Real Housewives of D.C. launch party, but instead hosted their own party the same night. They also had their guests pay to attend the party!
A Bravo housewife also added that the Salahis “are an embarrassment to the ‘Housewife’ franchise. They are a loose cannon. Now, Michaele has revealed she has multiple sclerosis; next she’ll be announcing she is pregnant with triplets to get attention.”
What do you think of the Salahis getting dumped from Real Housewives of D.C.?

Maimie commented on Sep 17 10 at 2:17 pmFirst of all, all that “let’s spread love,” crap is just a little to…not spontaneous to me. Fyi: I am a very positive person but, like Kat, I mean what I say. 2nd: I’m still unsure why security was necessary for the vineyard excursion. Their limo is way too flashy for my taste & I can’t say I’ll be sorry to see them go. The turning point was Tareq’s attack on Mary’s daughter, Lolly which could not have come at a more inappropriate time & doesn’t seem to have an ounce of validity. As to Michaele’s MS, “Where’s the beef,” on this?
Dani commented on Sep 17 10 at 2:18 pmAs much as I despise the Salahi’s in general I think they along with Kat bring drama and some excitement to the show. Without them, you might not have much of a show.
Cindy commented on Sep 19 10 at 9:46 pmMichaela (Missy is definitely easier to spell correctly) is the scariest passive/agressive witch I’ve ever seen. And the husband — see him on RHWDC when at the vineyard he was loaded with wine-stained teeth going after Mary’s daughter sounding delusional and crazy.
Anthony Sanchez commented on Sep 23 10 at 1:07 amI just wanted to comment on how shady Bravo has been about the Salahi situation. They somehow thought that having these scumbags on their show they would get good ratings and rake in the money. Bravo needs to be held accountable for encouraging this sort of behavior. I have wrote many truthful yet negative comments to Michaele Salahis blogs and guess what? Not one has been printed. I call it like it is, I’ve done this in a way worst way to other cast members to other shows and they have all been printed so obviously Bravo is editing all the truth about their cast member to some how make them not look bad. See for yourself, go to Bravo and read her latest blog and then read the flowery and positive comments. I bet Bravo probably wrote most of them! Such liars just like the Salahi’s

Michael commented on Oct 15 10 at 6:59 pmEveryone makes mistakes. Best wishes to the Salahis. They put themselves out there. They knew what they were doing. Time to move on… and learn. Life is short. Make the most of it, Salahis. You may not be invited to join the next season, but your take on life, as you knew it, was enjoyable to watch. Michaele, I understand your committment to your marriage. But it’s taken you down. Hope, someday, you’ll realize the rest of us are hoping you’ll get it…even though we’ve only see 10+ hours of filming.
What came across was a smart woman. But the lies hapmered you. And yes, we all know you lied.
No matter. You’re young and have so many opportunities ahead of you. You are a beautiful and interesting woman.
Whether you’ve gotten fired off the show or not, hope you learn from all of what’s happend.
It all happend to me, once upon a time. And I survived. Never too late to make course changes. Best wishes.
Michael
Sharon commented on Oct 21 10 at 10:22 pmBravo put all its chips on the Salahis drawing an audience to its insipdly boring DC Housewives show. I boycotted the show because I would not watch a show with two sociopathic grifters in it. These two are severly personality-disordered and exhibit classic behaviors of people with no morality at all. They put on airs and forge and fake their way through life. I don’t even think that Michaele has MS. She is full of BS as far as I’m concerned. Tareq is deranged and needs to be jailed for his scams. Hate them both and think the entire show should be scrapped.
