NBA star Dwight Howard wants his ex-girlfriend Royce Reed to quit bashing him in the media or pay him more than $500 million.
Howard is accusing Reed, star of VH1′s Basketball Wives and mother of his two-year-old son, Braylon, of leaking information to the press about him in violation of a court settlement.
In new documents posted by TMZ, the Orlando magic star is demanding that his ex pay up for leaking information to the press. He is asking the staggering sum of $500,500,000 for her alleged misdeeds. For her part, Reed wants Howard to keep to his scheduled visits with their child.
How does he come up with that number and what does it mean for their child?
By Howard’s math, Royce has intentionally leaked dirt on him on at least 11 occasions. He estimates that the stories generated from those leaks have been read by 1,000,000 people and she should have to pay the $500.5 million sum based on the terms of their court settlement.
For her part, Reed says the stories reached the media not through her but from legal documents filed with the courts which are immune to any agreement made by the former couple.
What caused the sudden public disagreement? Last week, Royce filed a motion in Florida asking the court to appoint a guardian to make sure Howard complies with their custody arrangement and shows up for his scheduled visitations. She is also asking that he be monitored when taking care of their son.
