Will Nate Montana Be Able to Fill Dad Joe’s Shoes?

NATEMONTANA8 2150 Will Nate Montana Be Able to Fill Dad Joe’s Shoes?Joe Montana’s son Nate Montana did not have a day reminiscent of his father’s golden years as quarterback. The young Montana got a chance to play in a big Notre Dame game on Saturday, but things didn’t not go well for the backup quarterback….

The star quarterback for the Fighting Irish, Dayne Crist, had an eye injury and had to leave the game against the Wolverines. Tommy Rees and Nate Montana were enlisted to try to lead the team. And both of them, well they both threw interceptions.  First up was the Freshman Tommy Rees who was replaced, after his interception, with the junior Nate Montana. After Montana’s interception, the Wolverines won with a score of 21 to 17.

Do you think having a famous dad, who was also a quarterback, make the pressure of being an athlete even harder? Do you think he has and will always be compared to his dad?
