Teen Mom’s Catelynn: I Want My Daughter In My Wedding
“Teen Mom” Catelynn Lowell and fiance Tyler Baltierra admit that they’re not the best people to be parenting their daughter, Carly, who they gave up for adoption. But the 18-year-olds still want Carly to be a part of their lives. Catelynn tells People magazine that she wants her daughter to be in the wedding when she and Tyler get married, though they say that will be years from now.
Tyler goes so far as to say he’d like Carly to be the flower girl at their nuptials. “That would be so cool – but we’ll see,” he tells the magazine. Whether that’s a good idea or not remains to be seen.
After all, Carly was adopted by North Carolina couple Brandon and Teresa 16 months ago, and they need time to bond with their baby and keep her out of the hot glare of the spotlight that’s shining on Catelynn and Tyler right now.
The twosome got engaged on MTV’s “Teen Mom,” and they say they want the wedding to be on July 15. They’re just not saying what year. Both agree it will come after college, at which point Carly will be a lot older and could potentially be confused by her inclusion in a wedding with her birth parents.
I understand these teenagers’ sentiments, of course. But perhaps they’ll rethink their desire when they are older … and wiser.

Megg commented on Sep 10 10 at 10:20 amI enjoy reading “celebrity” gossip on Babble – obviously – but recently I’ve noticed more and more judgy, and frankly really irrelevant opinions (and often questions) from the writers.
I guess that’s what they’ve been asked to write. Here’s some feedback, Babble: it’s silly.
