Dear Pastor Sapps,

I lost my father on July 3, 2009 and I felt like my heart dropped out my chest, but God was holding on to me and said not this day my child. Hold on to me and I will give you comfort and rest. I know it seems like it will not come, but trust in God with all your heart and don’t question his work. I look at life as God way of letting us have a little piece of heaven here on earth. Look at the beautiful soul of your wife being an emergency order to return to heaven. That only her spirit could heal God’s request. When you look in the sky she will be there. When you cry she helps the Lord wipe your tears, but it will all be better in the morning. I like to leave you with one of the best poems I ever read. In the time you’re soul needs to be refreshed. I can not tell I know your pain because I don’t, but I can understand, because a lost of any love one is of great pain.

A precious soul from us is gone. A voice we loved in still. A space is vacant in the home that never can be filled. God saw she was getting weary and did what He thought best. He came and stood beside her and whispered, “Come and rest” She bade no one a fond farewell not even a good-bye; she was gone before we knew it, and only God knows why.

I know God will bless you and your family.

Please stay strong and know that God is only one pray away,

To Pastor Sapp and family. My heart truly goes out to you and your family. I can only imagine the pain and agony you and your children are facing. I have 2 small children of my own and my mind can only imagine if I suddenly lost my husband and they lost your father. My prayer is that God gives you the strength and peace that surpases all of your understanding. In the midst of this storm…may our God give you peace. May god bless you and keep your family during this time.

When I heard the news today all I could think about was when you were on the “Mo” show and you talked about your fathers death. It touched me in a way, but after loosing many of my family members in the “08″ and “09″ year I can relate to the feeling of lost, but never to a spouse, soul mate, or life partner. But see God built you to be an amazing man who ministers through your music and words and I’m excited to see where God is about to take you! I know you and your family hurt right now, but in the mist of it all God is going to give you strength you never thought you had and your ministry is going to sore so high it’s going to touch those that never knew you exsist! Never would have made it was givin to you when your father past away, but God is about to do some amazing things in your life i’m sure. He’s preparing you for the unthinkable and my heart goes out to you and your family, because in the mist of our storm God always has a plan.

Sending my love

Dear Pastor Sapp
As you have lifted me and so many others with your ministry of song and praise, it is now our time to attempt to lift you in prayer and with kind words. I wish that we could do so much more. But where we cannot, please know that our Father can. We have no wise answers during this time, but I know that God still has His Almighty hands on you and your family at this time. We love you and appreciate the precious gift of divine ministry that God entrusted in you. God has you. Believe that always. Lean and trust on Him, when all else fails. We love you and are praying for you.

To Pastor Marvin Sapp and the family, my heart goes out to u all. I lost my mother in 2005 from cancer, she fought it for 33 years. I’m so glad that she isn’t suffering anymore, and GOD is taking care of her now. The journey ahead won’t be easy, but u have GOD on your side every day, and with his help u wont get over this, but he’ll help u thru it. The sun is gonna shine again. MUCH LOVE.

Pastor Marvin Sapp and family my deepest condolences to you, may God keep you and comfort you. Your song “You Are God Alone” is my daily morning worship song and it has help me through some of my darkest hours. I lost my father a few years back from prostate cancer, and to hear the loss of your wife just made my heart ache with pain. God needed him an Angel she’s just resting just like my dad. God loves you.

Dear Pastor Sapps.
My heartfelt prayers and condolesence are with you and your family in the loss of your beloved wife. A great Buddhist Philosopher, Daisaku Ikeda has written, “to die a good death one must have lived a good life”….”death represents the return of the individuals life to the universal life prior to another phenomenal manifestation is a source of splendid strength”…death is not defeat, but a wonderful stimulus to live more vigorously and more meaningfully”.
I will pray for your wife’s eternal happiness.

Our prayers to Pastor Sapp for the passing of your wife Malinda and your children for the passing of their mother, for the entire family, your church family and friends may God continue to keep you all in His care and hold you close to His bosom, for earth has no sorrow that heaven can not heal. May God continue to grant you peace, comfort and strength to your soul.

Janice Freeman commented on Sep 14 10 at 8:44 pm

May God rest her soul in peace. She died fighting for a deadly disease but with a noble heart. May God give the strength for her family to bear this untimely death. Also, give family the strength to make her dream come true to be happy and smiling as she did so graciously by bringing smiles on several faces. Just as a family be united, be each others support and bring back the same smile on each others face as soon as possible! Though, it is very difficult but not impossible. Remember she is watching you all from heaven and would love to remember not with tears but with a smile which could be infectious for many others -to make them smile back!

Dr Smita Pandey Bhat commented on Sep 15 10 at 10:13 am

To The Sapp Family: May the peace and love of Christ comfort you at this time and always. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. She fought a good fight and she kept the Faith.
God Bless You All!

Pastor Sapp and Family, Many words and prayers of comfort have been said but let me leave you with this poem: “BECAUSE THE ANGELS CAME”
No more grief or sorrow,
no more suffering or pain,
now there is everlasting peace
because the Angels came.
Only God knows what is best
and He gently holds “MaLindas hand
guiding her to a better place
Because the Angeles came.
When the sun rises tomorrow
and she answers not her name,
please don’t cry…rejoice with her
because the Angels came.
She now can rest in peace
as she never could before.
She answered the gentle knock
of the Angels at her door.
So please don’t mourn for her
as new wings she now claim.
She can take her flight to heaven
because the Angels came.
WELL DONE THY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT!!
