Pastor Marvin Sapp and his late wife, Malinda Sapp

Millions of people around the world are mourning the loss of Malinda Sapp today, wife of Gospel Singer and Pastor Marvin Sapp. Malinda lost her life to colon cancer, and she will be missed not only by her family, but by fans of the couple as well.

Sadly, in addition to her husband, Marvin, Malinda is also leaving behind three children, Marvin Jr., 16, Mikaila, 13, and Madison, 11. The family enjoyed a quiet life at their home in Michigan, and our hearts and prayers go out to them during this difficult time.

Marvin and Malinda were married for 18 years, and enjoyed life out of the spotlight. Their home is on 2 acres outside of Grand Rapids, and Marvin said how much he liked the neighborhood and the fact that their children benefited from the “family community.”

Malinda most enjoyed the “peace” of the home, and called the heart of any house, the kitchen, her “sanctuary.”  ”Cooking is my pastime; it helps me feel as if I’m serving my family,” she said in an interview in 2008.

Marvin, Malinda, and their family were exceptionally close, and there is no doubt that Malinda’s memory will be kept alive by all four of them.

We wish them peace during this difficult time, and they have our deepest sympathy.

Pastor Sapp I comfort you with these words: Precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of his saints. Secondly: To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord!

Although releasing Malinda to the Lord is difficult from a human prospective…the wonderful memories and the grace of God will comfort you! Know you are universally loved and take comfort that the Lord is saying to Malinda “Well Done My Good and Faithful Servant…enter into the joy of the Lord”! May God bless and keep your family through-out your earthly journey’s!

God’s Garden:God looked around His garden and found an empty place. He than looked upon this earth, and saw Malinda’s tired face. He put His arms around her, and lifted her to rest. God’s gardenmust be beautiful, He always takes the best. he knew that she was suffering, He knew that she would never get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb. So He closed Malinda’s eyelids, and whispered, “peace be thine”. It broke our hearts to lose Malinda but she didn’t go alone. For part of us went with her the day God called her home….Deepest expressions of sympathy through ours prayers and may God comfort you and your family hearts. May God abundantblessings be yours forever.
