Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight Novella Bree Tanner Movie in the Works?
Is Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight novella The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner heading to a movie theater near you?
Rumors are swirling that Summit Entertainment is looking to make Bree Tanner into a movie that would follow Breaking Dawn.
An insider reveals:
“It goes without saying Summit want to continue this franchise… Tanner is the one they’re looking at post-Breaking Dawn… It’s too early to talk casting, and everything we’re hearing is just speculation or off a wish list, but I don’t believe they plan on using the original actress, Jodelle Ferland, for the spin-off film. It’s all about numbers and names — you guys know that.”
While nothing is finalized yet about making a Bree Tanner movie, Twilight fans are already heating up blog comments with their displeasure about another movie installment. Instead, fans are wishing Stephenie Meyer would get to work finishing Midnight Sun.
Meyer, who has three boys, delayed Midnight Sun indefinitely after a rough draft was leaked online.
Do you think Summit should continue the Twilight franchise with Bree Tanner, or is it time to pull the plug?

Lexi commented on Sep 08 10 at 10:57 pmWhy make a Bree Tanner without Jodelle Ferland? Really Scummit… not cool. Stop recasting perfectly fine actors! Jodelle did great as Bree.
Elise commented on Sep 08 10 at 11:20 pmSure make the movie Bree Tanner but with Jodelle Ferland and I really really really hope and pray she finishes and releases the Midnight Sun.

jnb commented on Sep 12 10 at 11:31 amSure make the movie Bree Tanner but with Jodelle Ferland. what happeened to deigo. and Fred what about him. u should write more short stories
Chad commented on Sep 15 10 at 7:31 pmI don’t think the Bree novella was even long enough to make into a full movie. They should have incorporated it into Eclipse since that’s when it was taking place. Besides, if Jodelle isn’t going to play her, then it’s not worth making anyway.
