Kim Kardashian’s Racy New Magazine Cover: Will She Regret It When She Has Kids?
Kim Kardashian has voiced her desire for a husband and a family before. But will she regret her latest magazine cover when she has to explain it to her kids someday down the line? The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star appears on the front of Prestige, a Hong Kong magazine, in a teeny-tiny dress, flanked by two naked men! Let’s just say her hands are strategically placed on the men.
Kardashian’s Twitter account seemed to confirm that she knows it’s going to create buzz. She tweeted last week: “This may be my most risque cover yet!”
The first thing it made me think of was the Rolling Stone “True Blood” cover with Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer and that guy she’s not married to (I kid – it’s Alexander Skarsgård) nude and covered in blood.
I don’t think Kardashian’s is quite that racy (and, for the record, she looks fabulous), but I do wonder what these young starlets are going to tell their kids some day about the choices they made to put their bodies on display so provocatively with naked men.
I mean, we’ve all got some stuff in our past – I certainly don’t want my children seeing pictures from my 21st birthday – but this is public record.
Kardashian actually strikes me as smart and level-headed, despite the Kardashians’ image. I imagine she weighed this as a business decision, and the advantages of posing in a risque manner outweighed the disadvantages.
But if the “Kardashians” are still on when she has kids, I’m totally watching the episode “Kim Jr. Freaks Out Over Mom Showing Her Bod On Prestige.”
