Michael Lohan’s Rehab Center Was God’s Idea

42331PCN Mlohan02 200x300 Michael Lohans Rehab Center Was Gods IdeaWe didn’t think Michael Lohan could get any more, well, interesting–but it seems he has. The estranged father of Lindsay Lohan is planning to open his own rehab center in California, and apparently his daughter isn’t the sole inspiration for this venture.

The 50-year-old fame-chaser, who has also become incredibly religious as of late, wants to open a “faith-based” rehab center in Los Angeles, and he told UsWeekly God wants him to do it, too. “All of the things that have happened to me in my life have led to this,” he said. “I know this is what God wants me to do first and foremost.”

Lohan plans for the whole rehab to be centered around God and “that good conquers evil,” and the center definitely won’t cater to the rich and famous. “I’m not going to close my doors on anyone,” he said. “We may offer a scholarship [to those in need]. You don’t have to be Lindsay Lohan or Nicole Richie or Robert Downey Jr. or a celebrity to get rehab.”

As for the reality of the rehab center actually happening, that’s a little more vague. Lohan said they are “getting closer” to making it happen, but don’t have a location yet. “We’ve got the team in place, and the financing is all there,” he said.
