The Entertainment Weekly issue explores Sandra Bullock’s career comeback, how she kept life in check despite the tabloid kerfuffle and what’s next on her radar (Bullock is rumored to star opposite Tom Hanks in the adaptation of Safran Foer’s novel Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close).
At age 46, Sandra Bullock, hit a career high with her Best Actress Oscar… but was also thrust into the tabloid spotlight for her cheating husband, Jesse James. And then came the happy news that she had adopted a baby.
One Hollywood agent notes that Sandra is “the golden girl,” adding, “everyone is rooting for her. I’ve never seen anything like it.”
Her All About Steve co-star Bradley Cooper notes that Bullock has “this quality that people want to be around,” comparing Sandra to “a source of light.”
