Lindsay Lohan’s Orders To Her Dad
Now, we’re not going to argue that Lindsay Lohan is in anyway responsible (though she has recently taken responsibility for her illegal actions), but she may actually be the more mature one when it comes to this father-daughter relationship.
It seems, in his further attempts to remain in the spotlight/rich/on Lindsay’s coattails, Michael Lohan has been selling Lindsay’s handwritten diary entries from the starlet’s 2007 stint in rehab. And LiLo is having none of it. Her attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley recently sent Michael’s lawyer, Lisa Bloom, a cease-and-desist letter, ordering Lindsay’s estranged father to stop selling Lindsay’s personal property.
In the letter dated Aug. 23 (one day before Lindsay was released from rehab), Lindsay claimed she didn’t even know her dad had the diary, and definitely didn’t give him permission to sell any part of it. Michael has officially been warned that his sale of Lindsay’s personal items will result in a legal battle, and Lindsay will go after damages for “grave invasion of privacy.”
The troubled actress recently spoke with Vanity Fair and opened up about her father, once again. “I think the biggest focus for myself is learning how to continue to get through the trauma that my father has caused in my life,” she said.
