The never ending saga that has become Jon vs. Kate just took an interesting turn. RadarOnline.com is reporting that Jon ‘threatened to report his then-wife Kate to Child Protective Services unless she gave him a large sum of money’.
Hailey Glassman, the daughter of Kate’s plastic surgeon, who Jon hooked up with while separated from Kate, has provided exclusive personal notes of Jon’s that detail points he wanted to make during phone calls with Kate.
Often referring to himself in the third person, the notes state things like ‘Jon giving Kate ultimatums – He privately extorts Kate – If you don’t do what I want I’ll do this…. (Click here to read more of Jon’s notes from RadarOnline.com)
Hailey claims that after Mady hurt her arm after Kate yanked on it, Jon hatched a plan to extort money from Kate by threatening to call Child Protective Services if she didn’t pay him. In the interview, Hailey claims that “We were in bed and Jon called Kate on speaker phone. He wrote down what he wanted to say to her and then he read from his notes. He told her, ‘You either give me money, or I’m going to call CPS.’  Hailey continued, “I was in the background asking ‘what is CPS?’ And Jon told me, ‘Child Protective Services.’
“Kate started screaming and Jon just started laughing,” Hailey continued. “He just laughed at her. Later when he got off the phone I asked him, ‘What are you doing? Why are you doing this? This is the mother of your eight children!’ And he told me, ‘Oh, you don’t know what I went through with her, what I had to deal with.’  Hailey also claims that Kate always backed down to Jon’s threats. “Jon would do sneaky things like that and then play the victim card. That’s what he always did. It was all an act. The man has no boundaries for doing what he needs to do to get what he wants.”
I have a feeling that the Jon and Kate Gosselin saga is about to get very ugly. I wonder if either of them realizes that there are 8 small children caught in the middle of all this drama who really don’t deserve to be subjected to their parent’s childish behaviour.
