Chad Lowe and Kim Painter Tie the Knot
Emmy-winning actor Chad Lowe, 42, brother of Rob Lowe and ex-husband of Hilary Swank, married his long-time girlfriend, film producer Kim Painter on Saturday. Their daughter, 15-month-old Mabel, served as ring bearer and Rob was best man. The nuptials took place in front of a small group consisting of close family and friends at Terranea Resort in Los Angeles.
Lowe and Painter have been together since January 2007, and their daughter was born in May 2009. Baby Mabel is the first girl born into the Lowe family in nearly four generations. While certainly Rob Lowe has the more prominent career, Chad Lowe won an Emmy for his portrayal of a man diagnosed with HIV in Life Goes On and has done stints on television such as ER, 24 , Melrose Place and movies including Pretty Little Liars. He is also a director of My Beautiful Ohio.
