TSB 0078341 200x300 Claire Danes Wins Emmy For Temple Grandin: Are Babies Next On Her Agenda?Every teenager in America in the mid-1990s wanted to be Claire Danes when she starred in My So Called Life, and now, 15 years later, she has won an Emmy for Best Lead Actress in a Miniseries for her role in HBO’s Temple Grandin.

After giving a quick kiss to her husband, Hugh Dancy, whom she married a little less than a year ago, Claire took the stage for her acceptance speech.  She opened by saying, “Well thank you, HBO, for like, existing. And thank you for helping make television so vital and electric.”

Danes took the role of playing autistic character Temple Grandin very seriously, and said backstage that she’s never worked harder or been more inspired by one person. Temple herself was at the Emmys with her mother, and she was just as inspired by Claire’s portrayal of her as well.

Now that Claire can add being an Emmy winner to her list of acting achievements, we can’t help but wonder if starting a family with husband, actor Hugh Dancy, is next on her agenda. The two met on the set of the film, Evening, and were married in September, 2009. They are a gorgeous couple and will no doubt have beautiful kids. Will we see a baby bump for Claire in the near future?
