Levi Johnston Takes Back His Sarah Palin Apology. Is That Even Allowed?

Levi Johnston 300x204 Levi Johnston Takes Back His Sarah Palin Apology. Is That Even Allowed?Would Levi Johnston-Sarah Palin make a great cage match or what? First Johnston was sorry for everything he ever said about Palin. Now he’s not. Seriously, I’m just waiting for this dude to announce that he and Spencer Pratt (the only other man who loves fame as much as him) are filming a reality show together, because that’s how low he’s gotten to stay in the spotlight.

In Johnston’s latest backtrack/turnaround/confusing statement, he told the CBS “Early Show” that he wished he had not apologized for telling lies about his once-future mother-in-law Sarah Palin, the former vice presidential candidate and grandmother to his son with Bristol Palin.

Now here is where it gets confusing.

Johnston also says he never actually told any lies, even though he detailed those lies a few weeks ago – you know, when he and Bristol were engaged for about three seconds.

Give it to Johnston, the apparent mayoral candidate knows how to keep his name in the news for doing ridiculous and stupid stuff. But I’m not sure you’re even allowed to take back an apology.

Since no one can really figure out what’s going through his head but Johnston, here’s what he said. You judge for yourself whether he’s being sincere, sincerely confused, or just absurd. I’m leaning toward the latter.

“But the only thing I wish I wouldn’t have done is put out that apology ’cause it kind of makes me sound like a liar.” (Note to Levi: Yes, that is generally what happens when you say you’ve lied.)

“And I’ve never lied about anything. So that’s probably the only thing. The rest of the stuff I can live with.”

Who used whom? Sarah originally used Levi during the election. He learned everything about “sham engagement” and creating “media buzz” from Sarah Palin in 2008, and he is simply taking what he learned and doing it again for himself.
Perhaps Sarah used Bristol to get an apology from Levi for her own political career… and he regrets being so gullible.

They do know that at some point this baby is going to know how everyone has treated each other right???? It is very, very sad that there is a little one involved in this whole mess.
