Call me crazy, but Jennifer Grey as a DWTS contestant seems like a lock to win it all. I mean, all that time she spent training with Johnny at Kellerman’s – practicing the lifts in the water and dancing with the whole dirty dancing crew at the resort’s final show…

Wait… what? Jennifer Grey is not actually Baby Houseman from that 80s coming of age flick, Dirty Dancing, where she stayed with her family at a resort in the Catskills, learned to dance the mambo and fell in love?

Still, I would put Jennifer Grey at the head of the pack when compared to some of the other talent coming to Dancing with the Stars season 11 (I’m looking at you, Bristol Palin). After all, Jennifer did get to learn to dance with the fabulous Patrick Swayze, so she has to have a leg up on the competition.

By the way, Jennifer Grey is reportedly being paired with DWTS pro Derek Hough.

Commence “Nobody puts Baby in a corner” jokes in 3, 2, 1…

How do you think Jennifer Grey will do on Dancing with the Stars?

One of the reasons that Jennifer was cast in Dirty Dancing was because she was a trained dancer, having studied both Dancing and Acting at the Dalton School in Manhatten. To put her in this cast is ridiculous.
