The Gosselins Are Growing Up–The Kids, At Least
The time has come for all eight Gosselin kids to be in full-time school. The twins, Mady and Cara, and sextuplets, Aaden, Joel, Collin, Alexis, Hannah, and Leah were dropped off for their first day of school today in Wernersville, Pennsylvania. This will mark the first time all eight kid stars from Jon and Kate Plus Eight-turned-Kate Plus Eight will be away from home for the entire day.
The crew was bid farewell by mom Kate and bodyguard Steve Neild, and donned matching sweatshirts and jeans. Though with her busy schedule, we imagine Kate doesn’t get much time with the kids these days anyway, she did express some sad feelings on her blog recently about this new change.
“I stand in awe, amazement, and slight sadness at the thought of this [insert sad, nostalgic mommy music here please],” she wrote on the blog. What do you think Jon and Kate will be doing with their free time now that the kids will be doing all-day learning?

Ericka commented on Aug 26 10 at 2:19 pmKate’ll still be hustling for work. And Jon will continue to try and get verified as a celebrity on twitter. Twittering about his ugly girlfriend all day. LOL!!!
Amy commented on Aug 27 10 at 2:15 pmWell, I would think that Kate could find a nursing position somewhere during her kids’ school hours. Even if she has to work a little later, Daddy could pick them up and take them home. Sounds like something my neighbors or I would do. Oh wait, we are not publicity hounds. Never mind. Had a little brain spasm.
