Real Housewives of New Jersey: Is Teresa Giudice’s Jewelry Really Fake?
Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Teresa and Joe Giudice are in hot water with their finances–and are continually trying to get themselves out of it. Teresa’s newest claim? That all the supposed fancy, expensive jewelry she dons on a regular basis is fake.
That’s right, she said in a hearing regarding the couple’s finances that all of her real jewelry was stolen years ago, and–aside from her wedding band–everything she wears now is just imitation. “It’s all costume jewelry…and if you look at what I wear, it’s all costume jewelry,” she told the trustee attorney who questioned her during the hearing. (Umm, what about that massive yellow diamond ring Joe gifted her with on their anniversary?)
Joe also claimed he owns little-to-no “real” jewelry–just a chain around his neck. Though when further questioned by the attorney, he also admitted to owning both a gold necklace and a gold cross, plus his wedding band.
Do you think the Giudice’s are telling the truth? Or are they just trying to avoid a further mess?

Faux, not Fake commented on Aug 25 10 at 1:46 pmAll of my genuine jewelry is locked in a safe deposit box, so I wear QVC’s Diamonique and no one can tell the difference. Who cares what’s real or what’s fake!
