Mariah Carey Is Superstitious

mariah carey nick cannon 280x300 Mariah Carey Is SuperstitiousProving to be like most other pregnant women, the reason that Mariah Carey has yet to confirm or deny her pregnancy is because she’s superstitious!  Many women wait until they’re past the first crucial trimester before announcing their pregnancy to the public – prompting many to believe that is the reason why Mariah has yet to confirm the news.

Cindi Berger, Mariah’s publicist, told PopEater that Carey has seen all the coverage about her rumored pregnancy and “appreciates everyone’s well wishes.”

“But she’s superstitious,” Berger continues, tellingly. “When the time is right for her to say something, I’m sure she will.”

Her husband, Nick Cannon added fuel to the fire by stating on his radio show that “I’ve said it before and I’ll say it time and time again — when my wife feels like talking about whatever she wants to talk about, you will hear it directly from her, There’s a certain time limit that you’re supposed to wait before you actually can officially say that you are. You’ve got to take all those things into factor and it gets really heightened when you’re one of the most famous people in the world because you don’t want to mislead anybody,”   Hmmmmmm, I wonder if Cannon understands that he basically just confirmed the pregnancy by stating that?

Were you superstitious with your pregnancy?  Did you wait the typical first trimester before telling the public your news, or did you tell right away?
