Joining Ali, Roberto, and The Situation on DWTS: Kirstie Alley! Guess Her Partner
The producers may be trying to keep the cast of Dancing with the Stars under wraps until the official announcement next week, but the rumor mill keeps cranking out the names of all the stars lining up to shake their groove things.
It looks like Cheers and Fat Actress star Kirstie Alley will be joining the cat of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars this season, along with The Bachelorette couple Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez, and Jersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino.
In Touch Weekly reports that Kirstie will duest of her dance dance shoes and join DWTS bad boy Maksim Chmerkovskiy on the dance floor.
Rumors of Kirstie’s desire to be on DWTS started last spring while she was promoting her show Kirstey Alley’s Big Life, which chronicled her battle to lose weight. Her big personality and desire to lose some of her ‘jiggly parts’ certainly make Alley a good fit for the competition.
An Alley insider told the National Enquirer last spring: “Kirstie wants to lose weight for her health and well-being, but her big plan is to shed the pounds and then be named the headlining performer on Dancing with the Stars next year…She’s been a huge fan of the show, and she been bragging for ages that as soon as she drops most of her excess weight, she’s going to launch a full-court press to be named a contestant.”
Apparently dreams can come true!
