Elin Nordegren People Magazine Interview:”I’ve Been Through Hell” (Video)
Elin Nordegren gives her first – and only planned interview to People magazine, finally talking after nine months of silence following her now ex-husband Tiger Woods’ many affairs.
News broke the other day that Elin Nordegren and Tiger Woods’ divorce is final, and in this sit down with People she answers some of the burning questions that the public has wanted to know.
Elin tells People: “I have been through the stages of disbelief and shock, to anger and ultimately grief over the loss of the family I so badly wanted for my children.”
Elin Nordegren and Tiger Woods have two young children together, and no doubt Tiger’s many indiscretions have rocked the family foundation, but it sounds like Elin is staying strong through it all and giving her children the best of herself.
Nordegren shares that she is studying to get a degree in psychology, noting that “I also feel stronger than I ever have. I have confidence in my beliefs, my decisions and myself.”
It’s hard to imagine all that Elin has been through – she tells the magazine about the hell she went through, how she felt stupid, and the immense stress of the whole Tiger Woods scandal.
“My immediate plan is for the kids and me to continue to adjust to our new situation. I am going to keep taking classes, but my main focus is to try to give myself time to heal,” she says.
According to Elin, this will be the last interview she gives – you’ve got to respect someone who wants to remain private, especially for the sake of her children.
