Bachelor Pad Episode 3: Marriage and Kids For New Couples?

bachlorpad 5001 300x210 Bachelor Pad Episode 3: Marriage and Kids For New Couples?Bachelor Pad Episode 3 aired last night on ABC, and things are really starting to heat up in the house!  I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Bachelor Pad is basically the same thing as Survivor, but with indoor plumbing and better looking people. It’s about the best guilty pleasure that any Bachelor/Bachelorette fan could ask for, to be quite honest.

The episode kicked off last night with the first competition for roses…a kissing contest!  First, the guys were lined up, and the girls in the house were brought out one by one, each wearing a blindfold.  The men then had to go up to each girl and give her a kiss, to hopefully win the title of “best kisser” and the rose, leaving them safe from elimination.  The contestants didn’t hesitate to turn this thing into an all out make-out session, which had Bachelor Pad Episode 3 looking more like something out of late-night Cinemax than an ABC primetime show.

After the guys were done vying for the title of make-out king, it was the girls’ turn. These “ladies” certainly didn’t hold back either, except for Ashley and Gia, who decided that having the respect of people back home was more important than kissing each and every single man in the house.  Good job girls!  Nothing like refusing smooches to the guys who are in charge of whether you stay on the show to paint a nice target on your back!

The votes were tallied, and Dave Good took the title for the men, while Peyton, from Andy Baldwin’s season of The Bachelor, wound up being crowned “best kisser” for the girls.

Each of them got to choose three people to take on an overnight date…and that is where a little romance started to kick in on the show.  Most of the cast members are completely focused on the money, but the lure of spending the night in the infamous “fantasy suite” on these dates had them thinking a little more with their hearts than with their heads.

David was first-up for the overnight dates, and got to choose three girls to hop on a plane and head to Vegas with him.  He wound up taking Nikki, Krisily, and Natalie.  After a romp at a topless pool with these three lucky ladies, of whom only Natalie dared to bare it all, David got to select one person to spend the night with him in a Villa at the Mirage.  Um…duh…of course he picked Natalie!

Natalie is usually labeled as the party girl, but on last night’s show, she really seemed genuinely interested in Dave, and her feelings were reciprocated.  He said that the two of them had been good friends for quite some time, and that he was excited to take things to the next level and start a relationship with her, even hinting that he thought it could go long-term.  Could David and Natalie be the first Bachelor Pad couple to wind up married with kids? Or will Natalie bail at the thought of actually settling down?

For Peyton’s overnight date, she decided to spice things up a bit and split up the existing couples in the house for the night, so she invited along Kiptyn, much to Tenley’s dismay, and Jesse Covaks, which made Elizabeth act even crazier than she already is, and then Peyton also selected Jesse B., one of the single guys in the house.

And after choosing Jesse B. to spend the night in the fantasy suite with her, it looks like he is off the market as far as Bachelor Pad goes.  Things definitely got romantic between these two in that hotel room, and Peyton even commented about a new bruise she had on her knee, to which Jesse replied that they had “gotten a little rowdy” the night before.  Hmm…Peyton and Jesse definitely would make some beautiful babies, don’t you think? Sounds like they’ve already started practicing.

We’ll see what happens on upcoming episodes of the show, but it looks like some successful relationships may come as a result of this crazy concept.  Wouldn’t it be fun to hear about Bachelor Pad babies in a year or so?
