The Beckhams Feel Economic Hardship

CSH 045174 200x300 The Beckhams Feel Economic HardshipCelebrities seem to be feeling the economic downturn just as much as we are these days. Celebrity parents David and Victoria Beckham have called in a money expert to evaluate the family’s expenses and the accountant told them they were wasting their money by hiring so much staff.

The couple currently has staff at their homes in England, LA, Dubai, and France.

A source reveals: “This very no-nonsense accountant gave it to Vic straight and said, ‘You CAN afford to employ all of these people. But why the hell DO you?’ Once the accountant pointed out the level of staffing was not required Vic pushed the button. There has been a large downsize. David and Victoria are multi-millionaires but that doesn’t mean they have to waste money – and they were hemorrhaging it.”

The couple ended up firing 14 of their 50 staffed workers.  I feel sorry for those who lost their job, but in a sense it’s refreshing to know that we are not alone in this economic catastrophe!

How has your life changed since the economy crashed?
