ricky martin me book Ricky Martin Talks Fatherhood in New Book MeRicky Martin has written a new memoir, where he describes his break into the music industry, his rise to fame and his newest responsibility – fatherhood.

Martin is the father of twin sons that were born via a surrogate in 2008. Ricky has never revealed the identity of the birth mother, but he is the biological father of the boys.

Martin released a statement about the memoir: “Writing this book allowed me to explore the different paths and experiences that have led me to be who I am today. I’ve had to tie up loose ends that I’d never attempted to tie up before, to work deeply into memories that were already erased from my mind.”

You may recall that Ricky Martin was originally a member of the boy band Menudo before moving to a solo career in the 1990s. His self-titled 1999 album produced the hits “Livin’ la Vida Loca” and “She’s All I Ever Had.”

Ricky Martin’s book, “Me” (“Yo” is the name of the Spanish version) will be released on November 2.

The cover for his memoir, “Me,” is pictured at left. I’d say that fatherhood agrees with Martin, who looks as good as he ever has.

Will you read Ricky Martin’s new tell-all book?
