JWA 000828 200x300 Michael Lohan Catches a Break And Avoids a Restraining OrderMichael Lohan may be off the hook when it comes to the harassment case with ex-fiancee kate Major. According to TMZ, Major is now less interested in pressing charges and more interested in letting the whole situation fade into the background.

Sources said Major was planning to appear at Lohan’s arraignment today and beg the judge to free Lohan of the domestic dispute charges–that involved both verbal and physical abuse–she brought up last month.

Apparently the pair is on speaking terms again, and Major is also no longer interested in the temporary restraining order she originally obtained against Lohan–the judge dropped the restraining order and temporarily dismissed the case, as long as Lohan stays trouble-free for a year.

Do you think Major should have dropped the charges–and that Lohan can stay out of trouble for a whole year?
