Super Stepmom Sandra Bullock Will Still Help With Ex Jesse James’ Kids
Sandra Bullock, Oscar winner for “The Blind Side,” could give lessons to others in Hollywood about being the bigger person and letting bygones be bygones. No, she’s not getting back together with bad-news ex Jesse James, but she has decided to help him with his three children from previous relationships.
Bullock and James famously split in March, after word of his cheating came out and just as the two had adopted a little boy.
But Bullock was known as a hands-on stepmom with James’ children, especially his youngest, 6-year-old Sunny, who is part of a nasty custody battle between James and his ex.
Sandra doesn’t plan on reuniting with her former husband, but she’s told friends she will continue to help James with his other children, now that the two exes live close by one another in Texas. Earlier this year she watched Sunny while James went to rehab in the wake of his scandal.
“She is not ready to give up on Jesse’s children,” a Bullock insider told Fox411.com. “She wants to be in their lives and continue to spend time with them. Sandra will not be letting him back into her life otherwise. She is holding strong and firm to her solo future plans.”
Wow, a grown-up way to handle Hollywood heartbreak? And in a manner supportive of the children, no less? We knew there was a reason we liked Sandy.
