Teri Hatcher Surprised By Reaction to Bath Time Photos
Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher is set on convincing everyone in America she’s a natural woman. In response to recent comments that Hatcher has had mass amounts of cosmetic surgery, the actress posted close-up photos of herself–just out of the bathtub–on her Facebook page. Her supposed reasoning: to prove she’s mostly natural, forehead wrinkles and all.
But apparently Hatcher didn’t think those photos could possibly get a reaction other than people everywhere commending her for her lack of plastic surgery. She recently spoke to PopEater, saying, “Believe me, this whole reaction could not be a bigger surprise.” Really, Teri? You’re a huge star and you post semi-nude photos of yourself online–we have a hard time believing you didn’t see this coming.
But Hatcher’s friends are backing her up. “She didn’t do it to get attention or start a huge debate,” one friend said. “She thought just her fans would see the pictures. It was a spur of the moment decision that she had no idea would get a huge reaction.”
In fact, the friend said the 45-year-old actress is “more comfortable and happy in her own skin than anyone in Los Angeles.” Well, we’re pretty sure she got that point across.
