Jennifer Aniston vs. Bill O’Reilly: Who Won? (Video)
Let’s analyze: Jennifer Aniston vs. Bill O’Reilly in a war of words… who won?
Let’s take you back to the beginning:
Jennifer Aniston mentioned during the promotion of her new film, The Switch, about a single woman who gets pregnant through artificial insemination, that “Women are realizing more and more that you don’t have to settle, they don’t have to fiddle with a man to have that child. Love is love and family is what is around you and who is in your immediate sphere.”
Bill O’Reilly had a discussion on his show the other night in response to Aniston’s comment, saying that she’s sending a message out to 12 and 13-year-olds that’s “destructive to our society” and that she’s “diminishing the role of the dad.”
Bill claims Jennifer is destructive to society? O’Reilly acts as if the belief that raising a child without a man is a notion that hasn’t been discovered before, as if Aniston came up with this whole new idea in parenting and should be condemned for saying such things.
Anyone else getting a Dan Quayle/Murphy Brown vibe again?
Jennifer Aniston provided this statement in response: “Of course, the ideal scenario for parenting is obviously two parents of a mature age. Parenting is one of the hardest jobs on earth. And, of course, many women dream of finding Prince Charming (with fatherly instincts), but for those who’ve not yet found their Bill O’Reilly, I’m just glad science has provided a few other options.”
In the battle of Jennifer Aniston vs. Bill O’Reilly, who won? We’re going Team Aniston on this one.
What do you think of what Bill O’Reilly said and how Jennifer Aniston responded?

Terry commented on Aug 14 10 at 12:19 pmI’m an O’Reilly fan but sometimes he comes on as “all knowing”, but God he isn’t!! In this case Jennifer wins this debate. This 2010,not 1910. My point is things change, ideas change, etc., etc.. Of course a child should have a father, how profound Bill. Do you think we are stupid or what is your problem, really? However, in this day and age, a woman having a child is ‘probably’ acceptable to most people. Perhaps you should have a survey and if I’m wrong, I will certainly apologize. If you are wrong then I want you to send me a free copy of your next book. You are an asset to FOX and you know it, but don’t think I won’t use my TV remote if you get overbearing…AGAIN. On another note,I’m an Air Force veteran, and I love my Country. However, I’ve never been so scared in my 66 years as I am now with our pathetic leadership in Washington. He is an arrogant, naive, power hungary “man” that is going to destroy the very Nation that so many have died for to keep us free. He is also deaf because he certainly isn’t listening to us out here in this beautiful country. Amen

Brooke commented on Aug 15 10 at 10:40 pmObviously the ideal situation is for two parents to raise a child not only for the child to have two parents but also for the parent to share duties with another. That being said, a woman or even a man is perfectly capable of doing it on their own. However, the way that Jen went about putting that into words could have went better. It doesn`t need to be “fiddling with a man” or “fiddling with a woman” it can just simply be, I want a child and I don`t need someone to help me. It does come off some what negative. They both make good points and they can both say what they please and have an opinion of their own, after all this is America.
Jennifer commented on Aug 16 10 at 12:17 amNo surprise her comments got some reaction, especially from mr. self-righteous himself. Destructive to society? Not even a blip on the radar. Her response was pitch perfect. I’m glad she (and her PR team) didn’t feel the need to back-paddle and apologize.
