Did you know that paraskevidekatriaphobia means fear of Friday the 13th? Or that the probability of being born on Friday the 13th is 1/214? That every year has at least one Friday the 13th and no year has had (or ever will have) more than three Friday the 13ths?
And, while some people fear Friday the 13th, others embrace it! In fact, some of our favourites celebrities were either born on Friday the 13th, or will celebrate their birthday on Friday the 13th. Here’s a few of our fave celebrities born on Friday the 13th!
Steve Buscemi was born on Friday, December the 13th 1957. Clearly with all the success Buscemi, a husband and father of 1, has had at the box office, Friday the 13th was a lucky day for him! Buscemi can be seen in the new HBO series ‘Boardwalk Empire’.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus was born on Friday, January 13, 1961. In addition to starring on one of the most popular sitcoms of all time, Seinfeld – Dreyfus has won numerous awards ranging from Emmys to Golden Globes. The wife and mother of 2 is currently starring in her own show, The New Adventures of Old Christine.
The most famous twins around, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were born on Friday, June 13, 1986. I think we all know that they are anything but unlucky! The twins, first made famous by playing Michelle Tanner on ‘Full House’ have gone on to be incredibly successful young women.
