Charlie Sheen: Using Fake IDs, Just Like the College Kids
It’s recently been revealed that when Charlie Sheen, dad of the year, was arrested back in 2009 following the incident with wife Brooke Mueller, he didn’t exactly follow all the rules the cops gave him. Apparently, when he was asked to hand over his ID, Sheen did what we thought possibly only 19- and 20-year-old college students were guilty of: He gave the cop a fake ID.
Not totally out of sorts, Sheen did attempt to explain to the cop why the California license he handed over wasn’t quite legitimate. According to the police report written by the officer, Sheen said, “It’s fake; I had it made from someone on the set after I lost the real one.”
That excuse wasn’t quite good enough for the California cop though, and Sheen’s fake was confiscated. Sheen wasn’t charged for the state crime (of possessing a fake California ID), though.
We can just add this to this dad’s rather long list of infractions. If Sheen is carrying around fake IDs that he (supposedly) had made on sets of his movies or shows, how will his own children–or any kids out there, for that matter–think of it as a bad thing to have fakes? We’re not surprised that Sheen is disregarding the potential kids out there who look up to him–but his own (Cassandra, 25, Sam, 6, and Lola,5)? Does he not care at all about what kind of example he’s setting for his brood?

Was Charlie planning on buying the good shit in Tijuana, Mexico and worried that the border man wouldn’t let him drop by without his fake ID, was it so he could to some special healing ranch where little midgets would spend the day running around making sure the picture in your wallet matched the tan on your face. Or was Charlie just doing what we secretly think he is planning on one day- changing his name to Charlie Tijuana Smith and getting himself a normal existence?
One day when Charlie is safely locked away in his padded cell he will see an image of himself on TV and wonder who it reminds him of…
