barker Bob Another Price Is Right Beauty Fired For Being PregoFormer Price Is Right model Shane Stirling is suing the show for being fired–because she was pregnant. But apparently Stirling isn’t the only one who was discriminated against for being with child. Another former model, Brandi Cochran, is also speaking out and suing the show.

Cochran said she was pregnant in 2007, and treated horribly because of it. The model was afraid to tell anyone about the pregnancy–in hopes of keeping her job–but said the stress that resulted from keeping it a secret resulted in a miscarriage. Cochran claimed that, following the miscarriage, she told a producer what happened. His response: “It’s nature’s way of getting rid of a bad baby.”

But Cochran did get pregnant again, in 2008, and this time didn’t keep the pregnancy a secret–only to receive cruel treatment from producers. In the lawsuit she filed with the L.A. County Superior Court in March, Cochran said that when she walked past a producer while pregnant (with twins), he said, “Wide load coming through.”

Cochran was put on disability resulting from complications with the pregnancy, but she said she eventually lost her job completely.

The Price Is Right should really rethink its policy, nobody should be fired or treated badly because of a pregnancy.
