julia roberts david letterman11 Julia Roberts is a Hindu; Discusses Faith in Elle MagazineNews that Julia Roberts is a Hindu shouldn’t be such a huge surprise, but since the actress mentioned it in an Elle magazine interview, people are weighing in on the actress’ new religion.

Julia Roberts shares that she is a practicing Hindu now – as is her husband and the entire Roberts-Moder family. She explains that they go to temple together and “chant and pray and celebrate.”

Roberts’ role in the new film, “Eat, Pray, Love” no doubt contributed to her belief in the Hindu faith, a religion that allows you to lead a more spiritual existence.

Julia Roberts is married to Danny Moder and has three children: 5-year-old twins Phinnaeus and Hazel and 3-year-old Henry.

I love what Julia has to say about her husband and kids: “The children became the shooting stars of him, of that thing we have. How lucky we are that we love each other so much that we burst into three pieces.”

As for her reincarnation, she comments, “Golly, I’ve been so spoiled with my friends and family in this life. Next time I want to be just something quiet and supporting.”

What do you think of Julia Roberts saying that she is a Hindu? It seems like this religion is a great fit for Roberts and her family.
