100617X1 LEBLANC B GR 01 212x300 Matt LeBlanc Coming Back to TV After Taking Time Off to Spend with His DaughterJennifer Aniston has a new movie out, The Baster. CourteneyCox has been seen in Cougar Town and is gearing up for Scream 4, because Hollywood is now mandated to regurgitate every movie (Hello, Pirates) four times. David Schwimmer has been headlining Broadway shows in London and New York, while Lisa Kudrow had a number of failed shows and is currently staring in a web-based series called Web Therapy. Matthew Perry has been in a few films and is no doubt been busy trying not to smack fans who see him and call him Chanandler Bong. All in all, the Friends stars have been successful, but whatever happened to Matt LeBlanc?

After Joey failed four years ago, we have seen very little of the actor. But it wasn’t for lack of roles. It was for family! “When Joey ended, I took a lot of time off… I just really was kind of burned out. I just wanted to be a dad.’

Matt has a 6-year-old daughter, Marina, with his ex-wife Melissa McKnight. ‘We have a great bond, and it’s the best thing in my life.’

However, this dad is ready to get to work once again.

Matt will be starring in a show called Episodes, co-created created by Friends co-creator David Crane. Matt’s character is inventively named Matt Leblanc. “He’s a character that happens to have the same name as me,” said Matt during a panel discussion. “There are some similarities, but, for the most part, it’s fictitious.”

The series focuses on Hollywood and the relationship between producers and actors. There may even be a Friends reunion on the show and they will be incorporating the line “How you doin?”
