Why Wasn’t Obama Invited to Chelsea Clinton’s Wedding?
Hilary Clinton opted not to invite her boss to her daughter’s big day. The Secretary of State and her husband President Bill Clinton did not extend an invitation to Barack Obama and his family to daughter Chelsea’s wedding. Why not?
“I was not invited to the wedding,” President Barack Obama reportedly said, “because I think Hillary and Bill, properly, want to keep this thing for Chelsea and her soon-to-be husband.” And Obama would no doubt steal a bit of Chelsea’s thunder.
“You don’t want two presidents at one wedding!” Obama joked. “All the secret service, guests going through (metal detectors), all the gifts being torn apart.”
Do you think he should have been invited?

Nonnie22 commented on Jul 28 10 at 11:12 pmDo I think the Obamas should have been invited? Nope! I’ve heard Hillary mention in more than one interview that this is Chelsea’s wedding, and it’s true. I mean, if you were planning your wedding would you invite your mother’s boss? I wouldn’t.
