Why in the world would you give an open forum via a blog to a 19-year-old imbecile? So she could further embarrass herself by admitting she doesn’t regret assaulting a woman by pulling her hair (okay, extensions) like a barbaric animal?  Yes, Ashley Holmes, daughter of Jacqueline Laurito of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, writes of her attack on Danielle Staub that she is “sorry for how [the incident] happened, but I don’t regret it.”  What, she wishes the violence was perpetuated in private so there were no witnesses or cameras? Here’s how she puts it:

I know it was wrong to pull Danielle’s hair. I am sorry for how it happened, but I do not regret it. Everything happens for a reason. I do not like Danielle, I have plenty of good reasons not to. I don’t like her, and I never will. That doesn’t mean that I didn’t learn from the experience. I don’t need to like her and forgive her for all she has done in order to learn something from all this. If you all still think that I’m a bitch for not feeling sorry for her that night, then fine. I tell things like they are, not how they should be. I’m not about being fake. I’m not going to sit here and say, “I wish her the best, I am so sorry, blah, blah, blah,” like SOMEONE else does. To be honest, I don’t wish her well. I just hope karma catches up with her one day. I have been trying to not talk about her, and for the most part I haven’t.

Good to know she won’t talk about Danielle. Oh, wait… she can’t help herself! While trying not to talk about Danielle, Ashley shares her opinion of Danielle’s parenting abilities and concern for her daughters:

How many of you felt bad for Jillian in that scene of her with her mom? Isn’t Danielle scary? I felt so bad for Jillian, she looked like she needed a hug. I’m glad Danielle isn’t my mother. I hope her kids realize what kind of person their mother is before it’s too late for them. Christine is beautiful, and Jillian is talented. Neither daughter inherited those traits from their mother. They don’t need her, they have their dad [Tom Staub] and step mom. I hope they get away as fast as they can. That’s just my opinion though. I am definitely praying for them.

And perhaps the best line from Ashley’s blog post today is this:

I see a bright future for myself.

Um, really? Do share with us the evidence supporting your optimistic outlook.

Danielle can’t see herself for who she is and is not. She constantly hides behind her children and gives no thought to how her actions effect them. She is venomous and without conscience. Danielle- take a good look in the mirror and be quiet!

Ashley’s comment “but I do not regret it” shows a fundamental lack of knowing right from wrong.
THAT is REALLY serious and disturbing.
When we do things that are wrong…a signal goes off inside of us…our moral compass.
That moral compass is missing in this young girl.
Why? I don’t know.
…But I do know that if it’s missing at her tender age of 19, then this is a bad omen for the future.
Jacqueline has more trouble on her hands then just a daughter who has to pay a fine for assault.
I think she, Jacqueline, knows this…and so does her husband.
What went wrong in this fundamental lack of morals?
I don’t know…I don’t judge.
…But it’s serious.

I’m sure she’ll be a big hit in the singing zoology world

Perhaps if Ashley would learn to listen and keep that smart mouth SHUT, life would be better for her whole family. I swear I don’t know what I would do if my daughter had so little respect for me that she would constantly belittle and insult me. I feel sorry for her mother and think Chris is the only one in that house that sees trouble coming with Ashley.
