The Mel Gibson & Oksana Grigorieva Saga The Placenta Was in Play
You’ve heard of the straw that broke the camel’s back? Well in the case of Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva it may not have been the straw but rather the placenta. Yes, you read me right, the placenta. So what’s the deal?
According to TMZ, just hours before Mel went totally nutso on the phone with his baby mama Oksana, they had engaged in a very special tree planting ceremony at Mel’s Malibu mansion.
Mel and Oksana were there with a gardener who was planting a Santa Lucia fir tree to honor their baby Lucia. Sources say that the couple included the placenta from Lucia’s birth into the ground with the tree roots. This is apparently something that Mel has done with all his kids. At some point during what should have been spiritual and touching ceremony, the gardener doing the planting made some kind of comment to Oksana and she did something unforgivable, at least in Mel’s mind. She smiled at him. And of course after such a damning act as smiling, Mel accused Oksana of getting busy with him. Yeah, jealous much?
It’s sad that something that should have been a nice gesture to honor their baby turned into a jealous rage. That Mel, he certainly has some issues.
